Welcome to OptiWrite AI (“OptiWrite,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of our website, platform, and AI-powered writing tools (collectively, the “Services”).

By accessing or using the Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use OptiWrite AI.

1. Overview of the Services

OptiWrite AI provides tools that help users generate, edit, and optimize written content using artificial intelligence. These Services are provided on a subscription basis and are intended for personal and business use.

We may update or change the Services at any time to improve functionality, user experience, or system performance.

2. Eligibility

To use OptiWrite AI, you must:

  • Be at least 16 years old
  • Create an account with accurate, complete information
  • Not be prohibited from using AI tools under applicable law

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

3. Your Content

3.1 Input Content

“Input Content” refers to any prompts, text, instructions, or materials you submit to OptiWrite AI.

You retain all ownership rights to your Input Content.

3.2 AI-Generated Output

You own the content generated by OptiWrite AI (“Output Content”) to the extent permitted by law. You are solely responsible for reviewing all output before publishing or relying on it.

3.3 Use of Content for Service Improvement

We do not use your content for model training unless you explicitly opt in.
Your content may be processed internally to:

  • Provide the Services
  • Ensure accuracy and reliability
  • Detect misuse or system issues

We do not access, share, or store your content beyond what is necessary to operate OptiWrite AI.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Services to:

  • Generate illegal, harmful, misleading, or abusive content
  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or copy any part of the platform
  • Circumvent usage limits or technical restrictions
  • Interfere with system performance or security

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts engaged in prohibited use.

5. Subscriptions, Billing, and Payments

5.1 Subscription Plans

OptiWrite AI is offered through paid subscription plans billed monthly or annually. Subscriptions take effect immediately upon purchase, and you will receive access to the selected plan and features right away.

5.2 Automatic Renewals

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing cycle unless canceled before the renewal date.

5.3 Plan Changes, Downgrades, and Cancellation

You may upgrade, downgrade, or cancel your subscription at any time from your account dashboard.

  • Upgrades take effect immediately.
  • Downgrades and cancellations take effect at the end of your current billing cycle.
  • You will retain access to your current plan and features until the end of that billing period.

We do not provide prorated refunds or credits for unused subscription time unless required by law.

5.4 One-Time Purchases and Credits

OptiWrite AI may offer one-time purchases such as blog packs or usage-based credits.

  • Credits have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money.
  • Credits are applied automatically and cannot be manually selected or transferred.
  • Unused credits do not roll over unless explicitly stated.

5.5 Refund Policy

All purchases made through the Services, including subscriptions and one-time credit or blog pack purchases, are final and non-refundable, except where required by law.

Unused subscription time, unused credits, or partially used blog packs are not eligible for refunds.

We may, at our sole discretion, issue a refund or credit in exceptional circumstances. Any such exception does not create an obligation to provide refunds in the future.

6. Intellectual Property

OptiWrite AI and all associated software, models, designs, branding, and technology are owned by OptiWrite.

You may not:

  • Copy or modify the Services
  • Reproduce or distribute platform functionality
  • Use our trademarks without permission
  • Attempt to extract source code

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Services according to these Terms.

7. Service Availability

We strive to maintain reliable, uninterrupted service, but we do not guarantee:

  • Continuous uptime
  • Error-free operation
  • Preservation of all data or content

We may suspend the Services for maintenance, updates, or technical issues.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • OptiWrite AI is provided “as is”
  • We disclaim all warranties—express or implied
  • We are not liable for damages arising from the use or inability to use the Services

This includes, but is not limited to:

  • Loss of data
  • Loss of profits or revenue
  • Inaccuracies in AI-generated content
  • Any indirect or consequential damages

Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid to OptiWrite in the past 12 months.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if:

  • You violate these Terms
  • You misuse the Services
  • We detect activity that threatens platform integrity or other users

You may terminate your account at any time. Certain terms, including ownership and limitation of liability, survive termination.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
Any disputes must be resolved in the courts located in Ontario, Canada.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time.
The “Last Updated” date at the top indicates when changes were made.

Continued use of the Services after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
